Guide to Adding a Room in The TUO Life App
Step-by-Step Guide for both Android and iOS
Rooms in The TUO Life App allow you to logically group your bulbs. When setting up rooms, it's important to think through how you'd like to control your bulbs as circadian modes are only controllable by room. This is done to allow us to synchronize bulbs in the same room to optimize your light exposure.
As an example, if you have two bulbs in your bedroom, one on your side of the bed and one on your partner's side, you may want to set these up as two separate rooms. Rooms can be owned by different household members so this allows your bulb to be on your schedule and your partner's bulb to be on their schedule. Keep in mind that it's best to keep bulbs in different rooms at least six feet apart.
As another example, if you have three bulbs in your living room and each are only a few feet apart, you'll likely want to put these in one room. When family members move in and out of the room, they'll have the ability to override the room to use their schedule. In a family, it's typical for schedules to be similar which works well for active and calm modes shared in group spaces. The big thing to ensure is that each family member can be near a bulb on their schedule during their wake mode.
